Lighter: October Total Trading Volume $72.9 Billion, Fee Revenue $4.09 Million

Lighter officials posted the October operations report on X, with the core data as follows:1. Trading Volume: Lighter's total trading volume across its core platform and Robinhood Chain reached $72.9 billion in October, of which the core platform accounted for $53.8 billion and Robinhood Chain for $19.1 billion.2. Open Interest: As of the end of October, total open interest reached $1.41 billion, of which the core platform accounted for $1.03 billion and Robinhood Chain for $376 million.3. Fees and Revenue: Total reached $4.09 million, of which the core platform contributed $3.01 million and Robinhood Chain contributed $1.08 million (after deducting Robinhood's share).4. Regulatory Progress: Lighter plans to submit an application to the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in November to obtain Designated Contract Market (DCM) status and complete registration as a Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO). Traditional options products are proceeding as planned and are expected to launch before the end of the year.
