Sui ecosystem DeFi protocol Full Sail will gradually cease operations.
The Sui ecosystem DeFi protocol Full Sail stated that its protocol has been affected by the Switchboard oracle security incident and has decided to gradually wind down operations. Affected protocols include Virtue Money, which reported losses of approximately $455,000, with 45 users liquidated. Switchboard has issued a statement regarding the incident, but as of September 1, it has not provided the technical details requested by Full Sail, nor has it committed to compensation. Mysten Labs rejected Full Sail's request for financial support. Full Sail stated that all remaining liquidity from the protocols will be prioritized for distribution to users, with the team covering any shortfall to ensure community depositors receive priority compensation.
Xiaodong Song, former founder of Oasis Labs, has joined Meta’s Super Intelligence Lab as Vice President of AI Research.
Dawn Song (Xiaodong Song), co-founder of Virtue AI and former founder of Oasis Labs, announced on X that she will join Meta’s Superintelligence Labs (MSL) as Vice President of AI Research. She will be joined by several members of the Virtue AI team. She stated that she will focus on advancing Meta’s work in AI safety and AI security, with an emphasis on enhancing the safety, trustworthiness, and usability of cutting-edge AI models and agent systems.
Former Oasis Labs Founder Joins Meta's Super Intelligence Lab as VP of AI Research
Odaily Odaily, Oasis Labs founder Dawn Song announced on the X platform that she is joining Meta's Super Intelligence Lab as Vice President of AI Research. Several members of the Virtue AI team will also be joining to advance safety and security for cutting-edge AI models and agent AI systems. It is reported that Dawn Song co-founded the AI safety startup Virtue AI in 2024. Additionally, Virtue AI co-founders Bo Li and Sanmi Koyejo will also join Meta's Super Intelligence Lab.Oasis Labs is a blockchain-based privacy cloud computing platform.
