Alkemya Metacore Completes $50 Million Pre-IPO Funding Round, Led by Gumi Cryptos Capital

: This funding round was led by Gumi Cryptos Capital, with participation from institutions including Maven 11, Metalayer, Joint Effects, and Tribe Capital. Alkemya Metacore primarily holds approximately 7 million meters of ultra-high-purity nickel wire with a purity of 99.99% and a diameter of 0.025 mm. This asset has been independently verified with an estimated value of approximately $1.64 billion and is currently held in institutional custody in Lugano, Switzerland. The company plans to process the nickel wire into engineered mesh products for applications such as electromagnetic shielding, aerospace and defense, marine and desalination, power and industrial, semiconductors, green hydrogen, and precious metal recovery. It also aims to raise additional funds by issuing tokenized equity in the form of ALKN tokens. ALKN is issued by Alkemya Metacore SCSp in Luxembourg and is planned to be traded on regulated platforms such as Bitfinex Securities. The new issuance price is set at $1 per token, targeting institutional and professional investors, with the offering deadline set for October 15. Under the revenue distribution mechanism, investor capital will receive priority full repayment, along with a preferred return of 6% compounded annually. Profits from commercial operations will be split between token holders and partners on an 80:20 basis.

Bitfinex Securities Lists 5 Tokenized Notes, Offering Exposure to Bitcoin Treasury Companies Including Strategy and Metaplanet

Odaily News - Bitfinex Securities, the tokenized investment platform under crypto exchange Bitfinex, has listed 5 tokenized notes, providing eligible investors with economic exposure to bitcoin treasury companies such as Strategy, Metaplanet, H100 Group, and Capital B. The platform has also listed Strategy's floating-rate perpetual preferred stock, STRC.The aforementioned notes are issued through the Luxembourg-based ORO (II) fund and managed by SICOS Securities. The underlying securities are held in custody by regulated financial institutions but do not grant investors direct ownership of shares in the corresponding companies. The products allow fractional investments starting from approximately $1 and support trading in USD, USDT, and Bitcoin, and are only available to eligible non-US investors.Bitfinex Securities stated that this marks the first time such products are available for secondary trading on a regulated tokenized securities exchange. Following the completion of a $50 million tokenized fundraising round for metals company Alkemya in August this year, the platform's total listed assets have surpassed $500 million. (Cointelegraph)
