Bitget Partners with Reality and Keyring to Publish Research Report, Plans to Launch Onchain Stock Basis Trading Strategy

Odaily Report: Bitget, in collaboration with Reality and Keyring, has published a research report exploring the synergies between tokenized stocks, perpetual contracts, and decentralized lending, while assessing the potential returns and risks of related strategies through simulated calculations. The report notes that the application of tokenized stocks is expanding from traditional stock trading to collateralized lending, asset management, and systematic investment strategies. The research is based on Reality's rToken, combined with stock perpetual contract hedging and onchain lending mechanisms, to explore stock basis yield strategies. Historical simulation data shows that from December 15, 2025, to October 19, 2026, the strategy index achieved annualized net returns of approximately 7% and 4% in-sample and out-of-sample, respectively, with a gross funding rate premium of approximately 11%–14%. The report also notes that financing costs, trade execution fees, market liquidity, and risk management are key factors affecting the strategy's actual returns. It is understood that Bitget and Keyring plan to jointly develop a stock basis index and build an onchain lending market based on Reality's rToken. Reality will provide exposure to tokenized stock assets, while Keyring will be responsible for developing the index methodology and building the related lending market. The index aims to capture funding rate and basis yield opportunities by combining rToken holdings with hedged positions in corresponding stock perpetual contracts, providing a new strategic pathway for the application of tokenized stocks in onchain financial scenarios.

JUST Releases JST 2026 Q3 and October Key Progress Report, Buyback Mechanism Shifts to Continuous Revenue Basis

JUST has published an open letter to JST holders and released the key progress report for JST 2026 Q3 and October. The letter highlights that cumulative buybacks and burns across five rounds have totaled 1,881,973,007 JST, representing 19.01% of the initial maximum supply, with approximately $118.15 million invested in buybacks and burns. In October, JUST DAO upgraded the JST buyback and burn mechanism, shifting to a model supported by sustained ecosystem revenue. Starting in Q4 2026, the project plans to allocate approximately $20.34 million in excess funds toward buybacks over four installments, while maintaining a treasury safety reserve of at least $50 million. The report also indicates that JustLend’s quarter-end TVL remained above $7 billion, and GasFree processed approximately 21.24 million transactions in Q3. As buyback funding transitions from historical revenue reserves to ongoing ecosystem income, JST’s deflationary trajectory and ecosystem growth are increasingly aligning.

Analysts Respond to Claims That a 20% US Stock Market Correction Would Cause BTC to Plunge to $10,000: Predictions Are Too Extreme and Lack Historical Basis

Regarding recent community speculation that a 20% correction in the US stock market would trigger a plunge in Bitcoin to $10,000, crypto analyst Darkfost published an analysis noting that if Bitcoin were to fall to $10,000, it would represent a decline of approximately 87% from current prices and a drawdown of roughly 92% from its all-time high. Historically, Bitcoin has only experienced a maximum drawdown exceeding 92%, which occurred in 2011; its maximum drawdowns in 2015, 2019, 2022, and 2026 were 82.5%, 82.6%, 74.4%, and 54.2%, respectively. Darkfost further pointed out that while Bitcoin fell approximately 80% when the S&P 500 index corrected by about 19.53%, it only declined around 22% during the S&P 500's similar pullback of over 19% in April 2025. Therefore, directly linking a 20% US stock market correction to Bitcoin falling to $10,000 is not sufficiently supported by historical data.
