Bubblemaps Investigates Four Crypto KOLs, Says Wallet Activity Does Not Fully Align with Public Narratives

Odaily reports: According to Bubblemaps monitoring, Bubblemaps recently investigated four crypto KOLs and stated that their wallet activity does not fully align with their public narratives, with the conclusions based on its own analysis and estimates. Regarding Kimchi, who launched in partnership with Pump.Fun, there had been rumors in the community that he made approximately $40 million through TRUMP; Bubblemaps estimated, based on his public airdrop wallets and associated clusters, that the related profits were approximately $6 million, and questioned why he concealed the association. Bubblemaps stated that multiple meme coins promoted by Solstice exhibited bundling characteristics: dozens of new wallets bought in during the same period, each holding approximately 0.5% to 1% of the token supply, and the public wallets could be traced back to the token deployer. After analyzing approximately 534 posts by Anglio in October, Bubblemaps stated that his associated wallets bought in an average of about 20 seconds before roughly 61% of his calls and sold quickly afterward, with estimated profits of approximately $130,000; Anglio himself has admitted to using such tactics. Bubblemaps also stated that 0xEthan often sells within about three minutes after making a call, with his public wallet and hidden side wallets buying in during the same period, and the related profit estimate is approximately $125,000.

Monaco Submits Bill No. 1131, Aiming to Align with MiCA and FATF Standards

Odaily News – On August 6, the Monaco government submitted Bill No. 1131 to the National Council, aiming to replace Law No. 1.528 passed in 2022 and bring the crypto asset regulatory framework closer to the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) and the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) standards. The proposed regulation will clarify the crypto asset services that can be conducted in Monaco and raise requirements for corporate governance, prudential safeguards, and professional conduct. Service providers must obtain prior approval from the Commission de Contrôle des Activités Financières (CCAF), and relevant licenses will also require joint review by the Autorité Monégasque de Sécurité Financière and the Agence Monégasque de Sécurité Numérique. The bill also expands the CCAF's supervisory and enforcement powers. If approved by the National Council, Monaco will further develop supporting implementation rules; Monaco has been placed on the FATF gray list since summer 2024 and has also been included by the European Commission on its list of high-risk countries for money laundering.
