ZODL proposes launching a new privacy pool, Ironwood, scheduled to activate and enhance Zcash security by the end of July 2026.
Zcash ecosystem core contributor ZODL announced a new network upgrade proposal and privacy pool, Ironwood, in collaboration with Tachyon, Valar Group, the Zcash Foundation, and Shielded Labs. Ironwood will be built upon the existing Orchard protocol and further enhance security through formal verification and additional independent audits.
