CFTC submits crypto asset regulatory rules to White House for review

According to journalist Eleanor Terrett (@EleanorTerrett), the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has submitted a cryptocurrency rulemaking proposal to the White House for review, titled "Cryptocurrency Trading and Market Regulation." The move comes just two days after the Senate failed to advance cryptocurrency market structure legislation, following the CFTC Chair's previous statement that the agency was "locked and ready to release rules."
