Solana Co-founder Proposes Validator Stake-Weighted Oracle Concept

Solana co-founder Toly has put forward an early concept for a validator stake-weighted oracle, in which Solana validators would vote weighted by their proportion of staked SOL to price tokenized collateral in support of network transactions, with taxes levied on related profits to increase network revenue. However, this concept comes immediately after the Alpenglow upgrade proposal on October 21, and is currently not a formal governance proposal, nor is there any voting arrangement or implementation timeline.
