World to Adjust WLD Tokenomics, Daily Unlock Volume to Decrease by 43%

According to the Worldcoin Blog, starting July 24, 2026, the daily WLD token unlock volume will decrease from approximately 5.1 million tokens to approximately 2.9 million tokens—a 43% reduction. Specifically, the daily community token unlock volume will drop from 3.2 million to 1.6 million tokens (a 50% reduction), while the daily team and investor token unlock volume will decline from 1.9 million to 1.3 million tokens (a 32% reduction). Tokens continue to unlock linearly on a daily basis, with no single-day concentrated release events. As of April 10, 4.9 billion WLD tokens have been unlocked (49% of the total supply of 10 billion), of which 3.3 billion are in circulation.
