JPMorgan Says LLM Usage and GPU Rental Prices Rise Together, AI Hardware Demand Remains Strong

According to TechFlow Research, JPMorgan's July 1 Data Center Observation Report shows OpenRouter platform LLM token usage rose 70% MoM in June, up 20x YoY, prices rose slightly MoM, fell only 5% YoY, with US models accounting for 85% of spending. Non-cloud vendor GPU rental prices rose across the board, A100 up 6.3%, H100 up 3.7%, B200 up 2.7%, and the B200 premium over H100 dropped from 2.58x to 1.96x.
