Coinbase Launches Tokenized Stock Products, Covering Over $70 Trillion U.S. Stock Market

Coinbase co-founder and CEO Brian Armstrong announced that Coinbase has officially launched its tokenized stock product (Coinbase Tokenized Stocks), which utilizes fully backed real-world securities rather than synthetic instruments or debt tools, and is redeemable for the underlying shares. Dividend functionality has been integrated, with voting rights to launch soon. Targeted at global investors and institutions, the product aims to provide access to the over $70 trillion U.S. equity market.
