According to data monitored by on-chain analyst Ember (@EmberCN), the [Garrett Jin whale entity] added 7,000 ZEC (approx. $8.4 million) in short positions against the trend as the ZEC price climbed to $1,195, expanding its total short position to 39,760 ZEC (approx. $47 million). This lifted the average short entry price from $444 to $576.3, leaving an overall unrealized loss of approximately $24 million. This entity initially opened a 32,760 ZEC short at $444 in early July, when the ZEC price was under $400, whereas it has since surpassed $1,200, marking a gain of over 200% in three months and keeping the short position under continuous pressure.
