Bernstein: SpaceX's Louisiana Starship Base Confirmed; 30 Daily Launches Support $248 Price Target
According to Chaoxiang Research, Bernstein’s September 1 research report noted that SpaceX announced the construction of a new Starship base spanning 125,000 acres in Louisiana, with plans for at least 10 launch pads capable of supporting over 30 Starship flights daily, targeting a maiden flight in 2029 and requiring long-term investments of at least $100 billion. The 14th Starship flight will occur within weeks, heading directly to orbit to deploy V3 Starlink satellites; the 15th flight will attempt to catch the second stage, with reusability goals aimed for early 2027. Bernstein maintains an Outperform rating with a price target of $248, indicating a 73% upside from the current share price.
