Odaily Report: Derek Chiang, founder of ZeroDev and a developer involved with EIP-7702, posted on X stating that first, to be clear — EIP-7702 itself has no vulnerability. If you are using a wallet that supports EIP-7702 (MetaMask, Uniswap, Ambire, etc.), please do not panic.EIP-7702 is an Account Abstraction improvement proposal that allows externally owned accounts (EOAs) to sign a special message called a "7702 authorization," thereby embedding a smart contract into that account. This enables accounts to achieve powerful functionality, such as transaction batching — combining "authorization" and "transfer" into a single transaction, allowing you to complete a swap on Uniswap with just one click.Unfortunately, the same feature also allows hackers to efficiently transfer all your tokens in a single transaction. In the Binance hack incident, the hacker moved ETH, USDT, and 62 other tokens in one transaction, whereas without EIP-7702, they would have needed to send a separate transaction for each token. In this particular incident, many such transactions would have failed anyway, because Binance was still using the compromised wallet for withdrawals at the time, so all transactions sent by the hacker had to compete with legitimate transactions for Nonce (transaction sequence number). Therefore, using EIP-7702 did help the hacker steal funds as quickly and as extensively as possible. However, for the hacker to use EIP-7702, one of the following conditions must have been met: first, they obtained the private key; second, they tricked Binance into signing a 7702 authorization — the latter is highly unlikely, as it is hard to imagine Binance exposing an endpoint used for signing 7702 authorizations (or worse, signing raw messages that could be repackaged by the hacker for 7702 authorization). But until the official postmortem report is released, this possibility cannot be completely ruled out.Derek Chiang added: "As one of the contributors to account abstraction, I feel somewhat responsible for this hack incident, because while giving accounts more powerful functionality, we have indeed also given hackers stronger capabilities."
Odaily Report: During the Binance attack, an obvious arbitrage opportunity emerged on-chain. According to a community user's review, the attacker, in order to avoid Tether freezing, swapped a large amount of USDT for ETH through DEXs, causing the ETH price on Uniswap to briefly rise to $2,560–$2,750, with some individual trades exceeding $3,000, while Aave's ETH price obtained through the Chainlink oracle remained at $2,250–$2,290. A price gap of 15% to 30% appeared between on-chain and oracle prices, lasting nearly an hour.Arbitrageurs exploited this price gap by depositing USDC/USDT as collateral into Aave, borrowing ETH at the oracle price, then selling it at high prices on DEXs, and buying back ETH to repay the loans once the spread narrowed. According to the user's statistics, within 6 hours after the incident, a total of 61 addresses borrowed ETH on Aave mainnet (excluding the hacker's address). Among them, the most profitable address sold 12,289 ETH at an average price of approximately $2,580, then bought back 12,314 ETH at an average price of approximately $2,297, earning about $3.47 million. The top ten arbitrage addresses collectively profited approximately $6.36 million. The user stated that the arbitrageurs exploited the price disconnection between centralized exchanges and DEXs, and that the Aave contract itself had no vulnerability. As DEX prices fell back and Aave froze the mainnet V3 market, the arbitrage window gradually closed. The above profits are based on transaction-by-transaction on-chain statistics and have not yet deducted Gas fees.
Odaily report: A wallet suspected to be associated with the Binance hack incident received tens of thousands of ETH through a Uniswap contract and borrowed 19,762 ETH on Aave using approximately $60 million in USDT as collateral. On-chain records do not show any vulnerabilities in Uniswap or Aave.As of 22:07 UTC, the two wallets held approximately 253,000 ETH, worth about $570 million, with no outgoing transfers recorded. Aave has paused the Ethereum mainnet V3 market, and Kamino has also paused borrowing in the SOL/BTC market; Ripple has frozen approximately $200 million in RLUSD, and more than $2 billion in USDT and USDC has been frozen by stablecoin issuers. Odaily reports: An announcement updated by OKXICE on October 28 shows that Walmart, Eli Lilly, Cigna, Carnival Corporation, and Arcos Dorados oppose its stock tokenization plan. With the addition of five companies, 38 of the 63 target companies have now formally objected, accounting for about 60%; the combined market capitalization of these companies exceeds $19.4 billion.OKXICE is a joint venture established by crypto exchange OKX and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), planning to allow eligible investors to trade blockchain-mapped tokens of U.S. stocks around the clock using stablecoins. The tokens will be backed by real shares held by a registered broker-dealer, and trading is intended to be conducted through permissioned Uniswap v4 liquidity pools on the OKX X Layer network. The temporary regulatory exemption established by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in September allows eligible platforms to conduct tokenized stock trading without complying with some traditional exchange requirements, and allows listed companies to object to third-party tokenization of their shares. The announcement listed the companies that raised objections but did not explain their specific reasons. (Bitcoin.com News)
Uniswap posted on X that applications charging fees receive revenue in the tokens users trade with, but most applications only want to receive a single token, such as stablecoins, ETH, or the project's own token. With TJAR, any team can achieve this.

Odaily reports: Ondo has announced that 15 tokenized stocks and ETFs are now live on Robinhood Chain, with 11 of them open for trading in StablePair liquidity pools on Uniswap v4. The pools allow traders to swap directly between Ondo Stocks and Robinhood Stock Tokens that track the same underlying assets, while liquidity providers can earn fees by providing liquidity.Ondo stated that its tokenized stocks support round-the-clock minting and redemption, providing traders with an additional source of liquidity, exit channels, and arbitrage opportunities during periods when Robinhood Stock Tokens suspend minting and redemption on weekends, helping to narrow the price deviation between on-chain prices and the underlying asset prices. The 15 assets launched this time also include 4 assets that do not yet have corresponding Robinhood Stock Tokens, such as Robinhood (HOODon), iShares China Large-Cap ETF (FXIon), BitMine (BMNRon), and the United States Copper Index Fund (CPERon).Ondo Stocks can be bridged between Robinhood Chain and BNB Chain or Ethereum via Ondo Bridge, and can be minted and redeemed on the latter two.
a notice updated by OKXICE TSV on October 23 listed 6 newly objecting companies, including Wells Fargo, Cisco Systems, Marvell Technology, Arm Holdings, Moderna, and Intuit. The total number of companies that have raised objections has increased to 22, up from 16 on October 19 and 9 on October 15. The notice did not state the reasons why the companies objected, nor did it explain the impact of the objections on whether the stocks can be traded on the platform.OKXICE TSV is a joint venture owned 50-50 by Intercontinental Exchange and OKX's U.S. holding company, and plans to allow approved users to trade tokenized U.S. stocks around the clock. Trading will be conducted through Uniswap v4 liquidity pools on OKX's XLayer blockchain and settled using stablecoins such as USDC.The notice disclosed that the platform suspends trading only when the underlying stocks are halted, has not set up other circuit breaker mechanisms, and has not established policies for handling issues related to blockchain transaction ordering. Smart contracts can be upgraded without prior notice to users, and the contract controlling trading eligibility has only undergone an internal audit. (Decrypt)
Odaily Reports: Uniswap Labs has launched Aggregator Hooks, integrating external decentralized exchange quotes into its v4 routing system on Ethereum mainnet, Base, and Robinhood Chain within its web app and API. At launch, seven external sources are integrated; Uniswap claims this covers over 90% of DEX activity across supported networks, though it does not guarantee optimal execution for every swap. The routing engine can compare quotes block by block and settle swaps involving both Uniswap and external venues within a single transaction, without requiring additional token approvals for tapping external liquidity. Swaps routed through Aggregator Hooks can generate protocol fees that support UNI burning, and developers can integrate new routes via the Uniswap API; the actual impact on spreads and trading volume still needs to be verified through live trading.
According to BeInCrypto, Grayscale released a crypto asset valuation ranking evaluated based on two metrics: "Token Holder Yield" and "Adjusted Earnings Yield". HYPE topped holder yields at 8.0%, with Lighter (LIT) following closely at 7.9%, and PancakeSwap (CAKE) ranking third at 2.6%, followed sequentially by AERO, UNI, RAY, PENDLE, AAVE, JUP, and CRV. In terms of adjusted earnings yield, CAKE led at 14.4%, with LIT at 14.1% and HYPE at 9.8%, followed sequentially by RAY, AAVE, JUP, SKY, UNI, AERO, and PENDLE. The report showed that five assets on the list had negative holder yields, including AAVE, JUP, and CRV, with CRV at -5.5% and JUP at -2.6%. Grayscale calculates holder yield as staking rewards plus buybacks minus new token issuance, so holders face dilution when new issuance exceeds total yields. While JUP's adjusted earnings yield stands at 3.5%, its holder yield remains negative.
Uniswap Labs has announced the launch of Aggregator Hooks, bringing aggregation capabilities to Uniswap v4. The mechanism uses Hooks to wrap external liquidity sources as v4 pools and is now live on the Uniswap web app and API, covering Ethereum mainnet, Base, and Robinhood Chain. On the first day, it supports 7 external sources including Curve, Fluid, and PancakeSwap, with more networks to be added gradually. Per-block routing will fetch the latest quotes from integrated sources, build the optimal path between Uniswap pools and external sources, and settle within a single transaction without requiring new approvals; the related swaps will incur a protocol fee, which will be used for UNI burning.
According to The Block, Dataline, a decentralized data network for AI agents, has announced the closing of a $10.6 million seed round, co-led by Lattice and Samsung-backed Dispersion Capital, with participation from Symbolic Capital, Coinbase Ventures, Anagram, and Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev. The round closed in April and utilized a SAFE with token warrants, though the valuation was not disclosed. Dataline plans to launch its token by the end of the year and conduct a public sale on Base via Uniswap’s Continuous Clearing Auction (CCA) mechanism, with specific details expected to be released next week. The team hopes to make this offering the largest Uniswap CCA on Base, but has not disclosed the total raise amount or the number of tokens being sold.
The joint venture OKXICE, formed by cryptocurrency exchange OKX and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, disclosed in an updated announcement that it has received objection notices from 16 issuers, involving companies such as Alphabet, Microsoft, and Goldman Sachs.Andrew Cuomo, co-chairman of OKXICE and former Governor of New York, stated that these notices do not constitute objections, and that some companies simply want to observe how the tokenized stock model operates before making a decision, adding that he expects more companies to raise similar concerns.OKXICE's proposed platform plans to cover 62 companies listed on U.S. exchanges, of which about 25% have raised objections. The platform is intended to operate 24/7 through permissioned Uniswap v4 liquidity pools deployed on XLayer, with tokenized stocks paired respectively with Tether's USDt, Circle's USDC, or Global Dollar's USDG.
