Since their launch in January 2024, such ETFs have accumulated more than $57 billion in net inflows, with assets under management exceeding $100 billion. Meanwhile, U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs saw a net outflow of $110.6 million on Thursday, Solana and Hyperliquid ETFs also saw outflows, while XRP ETFs recorded a net inflow of $3.6 million. In the market, Bitcoin fell to about $81,500 at one point on Friday, down 3.4% over the past 24 hours. The selloff in U.S. tech stocks spread to Asian markets, compounded by concerns over AI spending and geopolitical tensions, weighing on crypto market performance. Over the past 24 hours, liquidations of leveraged positions in the crypto market totaled at least $440 million, of which about $397 million were long liquidations. Jeff Anderson, head of STS Digital's U.S. division, said the market has recently remained in a trading range of $80,000 to $86,000, and attention should be paid to the direction of a breakout from the range. the crypto market is caught in a tug-of-war between bulls and bears: on one hand, digital asset analysts remain bullish; on the other hand, the speculative market as a whole is turning defensive, with risk appetite under continued pressure. Bitcoin briefly fell below $80,000 for the first time in nearly a month. Dragged down by the sell-off in the U.S. stock market's AI sector, risk assets broadly retreated, and the bullish sentiment the crypto market had previously attempted to rebuild was once again undermined.Jeff Anderson, head of STS Digital's U.S. division, said inflation data will "deal a severe blow to risk appetite," while the market is entering a quiet period ahead of the Federal Reserve's policy meeting, with rate expectations still shrouded in uncertainty. Nick Forster, founder of Derive.xyz, said that over the past 24 hours, the market-implied probability of Bitcoin reaching $100,000 by Christmas dropped 2.8 percentage points to 9.7%. He noted that the rapid retreat of long-term bullish bets and the surge in short-term hedging demand indicate that institutional participants are rapidly reassessing macro risk exposure as the interest rate outlook once again becomes murky. Odaily News: STS Digital CEO Maxime Seiler stated that the current crypto market is experiencing a phase of divergence between price performance and institutional adoption trends. While token prices remain depressed, institutional deployment of blockchain technology continues to accelerate.Speaking at the 2026 Wyoming Blockchain Symposium, Maxime Seiler remarked, "From a price perspective, we are still in a crypto winter, but from an institutional development standpoint, we have entered an institutional summer." He pointed out that traditional financial institutions are currently more focused on adopting the underlying blockchain technology rather than directly allocating significant capital to crypto assets, which is why the growth in technology adoption has not yet been fully reflected in token prices.Data shows that Bitcoin is currently hovering above $77,000, still approximately 38% below its historical high of $126,000; Ethereum is trading around $2,400, down about 52% from its all-time high; and Solana is around $90.93, down approximately 69% from its peak.Maxime Seiler also noted that the convergence of Bitcoin futures basis reflects the maturing of the crypto market. During the 2021 cycle, the annualized futures basis once reached 20%-30%, but it has now gradually approached the risk-free rate level with significantly reduced volatility. He believes this is mainly due to the continuous improvement of channels for dollars to flow in and out of the crypto market, which has reduced market volatility. (The Block)
