Odaily reports: According to Bitfinex analysis, Strategy shareholders voted on October 28 to approve a proposal for daily dividend payments on STRC preferred stock, with preliminary results showing 99.3% of votes in favor. STRC is expected to shift from semi-monthly dividend payments to daily dividend payments starting November 1, with the first cash dividend payment arriving on November 2; Strategy's other three preferred stocks, STRF, STRK, and STRD, are expected to follow suit in January 2027.Strategy's move aims to reduce price volatility around ex-dividend dates. Company CEO Phong Le stated that previously, when STRC paid dividends monthly, prices fell by an average of about 49 basis points around the ex-dividend date, which dropped to about 36 basis points after switching to semi-monthly payments. The company expects that daily dividend payments will further disperse selling pressure and improve price stability. This model was not pioneered by Strategy. Bitcoin treasury company Strive converted its SATA preferred stock to daily dividend payments in June of this year and launched a subordinated preferred stock, SATS, with a fixed annual dividend rate of 15%. In October, Strive issued 7 million shares of SATS at $90 per share, raising approximately $630 million, and used about $511 million of that to purchase 6,182 BTC.
According to U.S. SEC filings, Strive, Inc. filed a Form 424B5 prospectus supplement on October 26, announcing sales agreements with Cantor Fitzgerald, Barclays, Clear Street, StoneX, B. Riley, Maxim Group, and H.C. Wainwright to issue up to $1 billion in aggregate of 15.00% Series A Perpetual SATS Preferred Stock through an at-the-market (ATM) offering. Agent commissions are capped at 2.0% of gross proceeds. The SATS Preferred Stock trades on the Nasdaq Global Market, closing at $94.88 per share on October 23, below the $100 initial liquidation preference. Of the 7 million shares currently outstanding, the newly offered shares will carry identical terms. Based on a $100 par value, the preferred stock carries an annual cumulative dividend rate of 15%. Upon the closing of its IPO on October 20, the company established a dividend reserve by depositing $22.50 per share into an account to cover dividend payments for the first 18 months. Additionally, if the public float falls below 25% of the total shares issued in the initial offering and subsequent additions, or in the event of a "tax event," the company retains the right to redeem all shares. In the event of a "fundamental change," holders have the right to require the company to redeem at par plus accrued
Since 2025, as of October 5, Bitcoin treasury companies such as Strategy and Strive have financed the purchase of 135,979 BTC through preferred stock offerings, accounting for more than 0.5% of Bitcoin's maximum supply; the related preferred stock market is approximately $12 billion. Perpetual preferred stock has no fixed maturity date, which can alleviate refinancing pressure and attract yield-oriented investors who are unwilling to hold Bitcoin directly; however, expanding issuance also increases dividend expenses. Sustained financing for Bitcoin purchases depends on preferred stock trading at or near par value. If prices fall below par, the appeal of new issuance may decline, and companies may turn to buybacks. James Butterfill, Head of Research at CoinShares, said Strategy's latest weekly report shows the company spent $193 million to repurchase STRC, bought 267 BTC during the same period, and raised its preferred stock repurchase authorization to $3 billion. Buybacks can reduce future dividend costs but also compete with Bitcoin purchases for capital. Ryan Rasmussen, Head of Research at Bitwise, expects ETFs will remain a larger source of Bitcoin demand over the long term, while perpetual preferred stock covers a different group of yield-oriented investors and provides another source of demand support for the market. Butterfill believes preferred stock may amplify market cycles: when financing conditions are favorable, it supports Bitcoin purchases; when market sentiment weakens, that support may diminish.
Odaily Report: Fidelity Digital Assets research analyst Zack Wainwright noted in an analysis published on October 20 that preferred stock financing oriented toward Bitcoin could attract capital from the approximately $15 trillion global fixed income market. Fidelity estimates that the size of this type of preferred stock is approximately $12 billion. As of October 5, preferred stock financing has supported the purchase of 135,979 BTC, of which more than 95,000 were purchased between March and May. Fidelity estimates that nearly 96% of Bitcoin's maximum supply has been issued, and the next halving is expected in less than two years.Bitcoin treasury company Strive Inc. completed a 15% Series A Perpetual SATS Preferred Stock offering on October 20, selling 7 million shares at $90 per share for total proceeds of $630 million; the dividend rate is calculated on a $100 par value and is 15% annualized.Bitcoin treasury company Strategy Inc. disclosed that it holds 848,517 BTC and purchased 267 BTC the previous week for $22.1 million, using proceeds from common stock issuance and cash. Odaily report: As the financing models of Bitcoin treasury companies Strategy and Strive come under pressure, related companies are attracting investors by offering higher-yield preferred stock to sustain their crypto asset accumulation strategies. Strategy's STRC preferred stock, which carries a 12% annualized dividend rate, has not been issued again since its price decline in June. The company is now seeking to promote daily dividend payments and continues to raise funds by issuing additional common stock to buy Bitcoin, resulting in equity dilution for existing shareholders.Bitcoin treasury company Strive disclosed that it has completed a $630 million preferred stock offering, with the fundraising scale about 25% higher than initially planned. The preferred stock carries a nominal annualized yield of 15% and was issued at a discount, with an effective yield of nearly 17%, far exceeding the yield on one-year high-grade U.S. Treasury bonds and approaching the returns on distressed debt. Bitcoin Treasuries posted that Strive (ASST) is pushing for the second spot on the Bitcoin treasury rankings, with a funding round of $700 million that was 2x oversubscribed. As of now, cumulative Bitcoin treasury holdings have reached 36,818 BTC. Matt Cole, CEO of Bitcoin treasury company Strive, stated on X that the long-term trend of currency debasement will continue to drive the appreciation of scarce assets. As digital gold, Bitcoin is still in its early stages, and as the market gradually matures, its long-term performance is expected to surpass gold.Cole noted that over the past 55 years, gold's compound annual growth rate has exceeded the growth rate of the U.S. M2 money supply in multiple periods. Since 1970, these rates were 9.0% and 6.7% respectively; since the global financial crisis, 9.5% and 6.3% respectively; and since the COVID-19 pandemic, 18.3% and 6.5% respectively.Cole believes that as the debt crisis continues to worsen, the long-term excess performance of scarce assets relative to the U.S. dollar may further expand. For Strive, the key to determining whether it can outperform Bitcoin lies in maintaining a high Bitcoin exposure multiplier and sufficient liquidity, rather than simply reducing financing costs. He emphasized that establishing and sustaining high Bitcoin exposure over the long term while avoiding financial risk is extremely challenging, and the market still underestimates Strive's competitive advantages in Bitcoin exposure amplification capability and liquidity management. Its core investment philosophy is to reduce U.S. dollar exposure and increase Bitcoin allocation over the long term.
Odaily Sees: Bitcoin News posted on X that Strive, after weeks of sustained buying, reportedly holds 35,600 BTC and has drawn attention from Wall Street. TD Cowen raised its price target on Strive's stock from $44 to $56 on October 16. Strive priced an offering of 7 million preferred shares at $90 per share, raising approximately $630 million in gross proceeds (before fees); this approach avoids immediate dilution of common stock but requires dividend payments. Strive's stock fell 6.1% on Friday, in sync with Strategy.
According to The Block, TD Cowen analysts Lance Vitanza and Jonnathan Navarrete raised their price target for Strive (ASST) on Friday from $44 to $56. Strive's bitcoin holdings have increased to 35,595 BTC, valued at approximately $2.9 billion, up from 28,000 BTC at the end of September. This represents an acquisition of nearly 7,600 BTC over two weeks, surpassing TD Cowen's previous forecast of adding 4,750 BTC in the fourth quarter. The purchases include 3,311 BTC acquired on Tuesday (approximately $280 million, marking its largest single transaction since January) and 2,822 BTC on Wednesday. Strive is now the publicly traded company with the fourth-largest bitcoin treasury, marginally ahead of MARA's reported holdings. Strive has simultaneously expanded its SATS preferred stock offering to 7 million shares at $90 per share, targeting $630 million in proceeds, with completion expected by October 20. The company plans to reserve cash sufficient to cover dividend payments for 18 months. TD Cowen expects the offering to fund future bitcoin acquisitions without necessitating additional common stock issuance.

As of October 2, the company held 29,462 BTC. From September 28 to October 4, Strategy did not sell any STRC shares. An 8-K filing submitted on Monday will reveal whether this SATA cash was actually converted into Bitcoin.

Michael Saylor posted on X platform stating that Strategy and Strive conduct business based on the shared capital foundation of Bitcoin. Although the two parties differ in securities products, decisions, and target audiences, they can compete while jointly expanding long-term opportunities. He believes that more well-managed Bitcoin-backed digital credit issuers can help enhance investor awareness, liquidity, and institutional research coverage for this category, and may improve the financing environment for eligible issuers. Saylor also mentioned that Strive disclosed the purchase of $50 million worth of STRC on March 11, 2026.
Odaily News, According to Bitcoin News monitoring, Strive purchased 1,800 Bitcoin between August 24 and August 28 at an average price of $79,431 per coin, with the transaction totaling approximately $143 million, including fees and related expenses. This purchase increased its Bitcoin holdings from 21,356 to 23,156 BTC, valued at approximately $1.8 billion, surpassing digital asset exchange Bullish to become the fifth-largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, trailing only Strategy, Twenty One Capital, Metaplanet, and MARA Holdings. Strive accumulated nearly 3,000 Bitcoin over a 15-day period, including 1,110 BTC purchased between August 17 and August 21 for approximately $81.5 million, and 79 BTC purchased earlier in August for approximately $5 million. Strive CEO Matt Cole confirmed the purchases in a post on X on August 31. The funds for these purchases came primarily from stock sales, rather than debt financing. During this period, the number of ASST common shares increased from approximately 79.9 million to 83.5 million, and the number of SATA preferred shares also rose. The two programs are expected to raise approximately $154.6 million, with roughly $143 million used to purchase Bitcoin. SATA currently offers an annual dividend of 13%, paid on each business day. Strive stated that it has repaid all outstanding debt, currently has no margin requirements, and its Bitcoin is not collateralized. The company purchased nearly 3,000 Bitcoin in August, and ASST shares rose more than 5% on Monday, bringing their monthly gain to nearly 100%. Raising funds through stock issuance to purchase Bitcoin may lead to dilution of existing shareholders' equity, while a decline in Bitcoin's price could also pose risks.
Odaily News: BitcoinTreasuries.NET indicates that SATA, a subsidiary of Strive, has raised enough funds today to purchase 104 Bitcoin.
Odaily News, Strive Vice President Joe Burnett posted on X platform, stating that BTC's break-even annualization is often difficult to understand, and it's important to grasp why. The market generally holds three types of views on Bitcoin: Bullish Bitcoin investors believe Bitcoin will appreciate significantly; if they can borrow long-term capital at a cost below 20% and anticipate Bitcoin's future compound annual growth rate will exceed that level, they are willing to finance the purchase of more Bitcoin. Neutral Bitcoin investors require a much lower hurdle rate of return for Bitcoin. According to Michael Saylor's post, if Bitcoin grows by only 3.3% annually, they could sustainably pay current dividends through Bitcoin capital gains. This is a different bet from expecting Bitcoin to grow at a compound rate of over 20%. For context, the historical annual growth rate of the US dollar M2 money supply is around 7%. BTC is a scarce monetary asset with a long-term supply growth rate of 0%. Therefore, buyers of digital credit don't need to be extremely bullish on Bitcoin; they primarily need to believe that Bitcoin won't die out and will roughly keep pace with dollar inflation. This audience is much broader. Joe Burnett stated this might already be the current global consensus view on Bitcoin. Bearish Bitcoin investors can also express their views by shorting Bitcoin or shorting Amplified Bitcoin. Currently, capital has three clear ways to express its view: Bullish on Bitcoin can hold Bitcoin and Amplified Bitcoin; Neutral on Bitcoin can hold Digital Credit; Bearish on Bitcoin can short Bitcoin or Amplified Bitcoin. Every major capital allocator now has a Bitcoin-related tool matching their worldview, and this is how over $1 quadrillion in global capital begins to flow into Bitcoin.
Strive Chief Investment Officer Ben Werkman stated that if Bitcoin prices remain low for an extended period, it will increase pressure on Bitcoin treasury companies that rely on convertible bond financing. Some companies may be forced to sell BTC to maintain operations or repay debt, potentially triggering mergers and acquisitions, asset sales, and restructuring. Werkman noted that Strive has chosen to finance solely through equity to avoid the pressures of convertible bonds, and has already acquired peer company Semler Scientific as an example of industry consolidation. He pointed out that some companies are proactively reducing debt and adjusting their balance sheets, and expects more mergers, acquisitions, and structural adjustments in the future to cope with sustained market weakness and conservative treatment of Bitcoin asset values by rating agencies. (Theblock)
Jeff Walton (@PunterJeff) of Strive stated that Strive is raising funds at a rate of $8.1 million per day. If this capital is used to pay dividends, it could support the issuance of $15.5 billion worth of SATA tokens. Jeff Walton indicated that this amount of capital is equivalent to purchasing approximately 175,000 BTC at current prices, which would increase its total BTC holdings to 10 times its current size.
