tokenization platform Tradable plans to bring up to $1 billion in private credit assets onto the Stellar blockchain to expand institutional access to tokenized RWAs. The initiative is expected to launch with $500 million in nominal assets under management, with plans to increase to $1 billion over time. Tradable will leverage the Stellar network to support institutional functions such as compliance, investor onboarding, and asset lifecycle management. The specific launch date has not yet been disclosed. Tradable stated that it has already tokenized $1.7 billion in private credit assets across nearly 30 institutional-grade private credit positions. Stellar Development Foundation CEO Denelle Dixon noted that this agreement reflects growing institutional interest in using the Stellar network for tokenized RWAs. Stellar has recently focused increasingly on tokenized RWAs and has attracted institutional partners such as the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation.
tokenized sovereign debt startup M1X Global has completed a $5.5 million seed funding round, led by Paradigm, with participation from Breed VC and others. It is understood that M1X Global previously collaborated with the Republic of the Marshall Islands to assist in the issuance of the on-chain sovereign debt instrument USDM1. This product is a dollar-denominated tokenized sovereign debt instrument, 1:1 backed by U.S. Treasury bonds, and natively issued on a public blockchain by a sovereign nation. USDM1 was initially issued on Stellar and is now also available on Canton and Solana.Jordan Goldman, President and COO of M1X, stated that sovereign debt is one of the largest asset classes globally, but prior to USDM1, it did not exist in a native on-chain form. The company aims to establish USDM1 as on-chain sovereign collateral and expand its use within regulated financial markets. The initial application scenario for USDM1 is domestic government aid distribution. Citizens of the Marshall Islands can receive funds via the Lomalo wallet, with payments settling in seconds, bypassing the need for traditional correspondent banking networks. M1X also indicated that its recent integration with Bank of Guam, a U.S. FDIC-insured bank, further connects USDM1 to regulated banking infrastructure. (The Block)

This stablecoin is backed by real-world assets, with the initial minting collateral being the tokenized Treasury bill USDY. USST is built on STBL's Stablecoin 2.0 infrastructure, allowing market participants to deposit eligible real-world assets, such as tokenized Treasury bills or money market funds, to mint USST. It supports settlement, collateral liquidity, and cross-border payments. STBL plans to add Franklin Templeton's BENJI as a second collateral option but has not yet set a date for the BENJI collateral integration, nor has it disclosed the initial minting size of USST on Stellar.
