He was precisely intercepted and arrested by police from the Chongzuo Aidian Border Police Station just 100 meters from the China-Vietnam border, with 8.75 kilograms of gold seized on the spot. Subsequently, another suspect, Wang, who had already fled to Thailand, was captured in Bangkok and extradited back to China.
