According to the official announcement, XCN will maintain its native Ethereum ERC-20 asset properties unchanged, and the XCN contract on Ethereum will continue to serve as the primary asset carrier in the ecosystem for liquidity, governance, and staking. Users will still be able to bridge XCN from Ethereum to Onyx Layer 1 as needed in the future to participate in staking, applications, and subsequent network functions.
