Japanese listed company eole (Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth: 2334) purchased 1,078.2547 HYPE tokens on July 28 for approximately 10.08 million yen (approximately $61,600), with an average cost of approximately 9,352.77 yen (approximately $57.10), becoming the first listed company in Japan to purchase HYPE. The company plans to make additional purchases in batches by the end of August, bringing the total investment in HYPE to 100 million yen (approximately $610,500), and include it in the digital asset reserves under the "Neo Crypto Bank" concept to support on-chain finance and Web3 businesses.
According to BeInCrypto, Grayscale Head of Research Zach Pandl released a report using the "earnings per token" method to value Hyperliquid (HYPE). The report assumes Hyperliquid's 2027 earnings will be approximately $1 billion (an increase of about 20% compared to 2025), and expects the circulating supply at that time to reach 270 million to 310 million tokens, corresponding to earnings per token of approximately $3.25 to $3.75. Calculated at the current price of approximately $54, the forward P/E ratio is approximately 15 to 18 times, suggesting it still holds a valuation advantage compared to fintech stocks.
Odaily GLC Research posted on X, stating that Hyperliquid’s “priority fees” mechanism has achieved great success, having cumulatively generated over $5 million in revenue to date.Based on the 14-day and 30-day average, the annualized buyback scale supported by this revenue has exceeded $30 million, accounting for approximately 7% of HYPE’s total revenue. Considering that “priority fees” are still in a very early stage, it is expected that this figure will continue to grow, with the annualized scale of this revenue projected to reach between $50 million and $100 million by the end of the year.
this morning, two addresses suspected to be associated with Paradigm unstaked 2.92 million HYPE (approximately $171 million).Former Ethereum core developer and angel investor Eric Conner commented on this, saying: "Everyone assumes this is a sell-off, but it's more likely that this is for ETF seeding. Custodians require tokens to be liquid, and staked HYPE cannot be used. Back in April, they also unstaked $88 million worth of tokens, and on the same day, Grayscale updated its S-1 filing and switched its custodian to Anchorage."
MoonPay announces a partnership with Discover Network, enabling US Discover credit cardholders to now purchase thousands of supported crypto assets via MoonPay, including BTC, ETH, BNB, XRP, SOL, TRX, HYPE, and ZEC. Odaily News Bitwise released its "Q3 2026 Staking Report," showing that 40.2 million ETH has now been staked, accounting for 33% of the total ETH supply, a new all-time high. The increase in staking this year has primarily come from institutions, including staking ETFs, corporate treasuries, and other large holders. The report also indicates that the staking rates for the networks covered by Bitwise remain high, with Solana at 68%, Near at 45%, Hyperliquid at 44%, and Avalanche at 41%.Additionally, Ethereum’s throughput increased by 73% year-over-year, while Avalanche’s transaction volume reached four times that of the same period last year. Recently, Coinbase and Circle also staked 500,000 HYPE each on Hyperliquid, signaling that institutional staking is expanding to more emerging PoS networks.
According to The Block, Jito Labs has officially launched the self-custody trading platform JTX, targeting professional traders in the Solana ecosystem. The platform supports spot trading, covering cbBTC, SOL, HYPE, and meme coins, while also supporting trading of tokenized real-world assets (RWA) such as stocks and ETFs. JTX provides professional-grade trading tools such as limit orders, automatic execution, and conditional orders. Users hold their own private keys, settlement is completed on-chain, and there is no custodial risk. Regarding fee distribution, 80% of trading fee revenue will be used by Jito DAO to buy back and burn JTO tokens, with the remaining 20% distributed to referrers.
Solana blockchain infrastructure developer Jito Labs has announced the launch of JTX, a self-custodial on-chain trading platform designed for professional traders, aimed at providing specialized trading tools that offer an experience closer to traditional financial trading within the Solana ecosystem. In its initial phase, JTX supports spot trading, covering Solana ecosystem assets including cbBTC, SOL, HYPE, and various Meme coins, while also supporting tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) such as stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).Jito stated that JTX is designed to address the conflict between self-custody and trading execution efficiency, offering users professional-grade trading features including limit orders, automated execution, and conditional orders. Users always retain control of their private keys, and trade settlements are completed directly on-chain without relying on centralized custodians. (The Block)
Odaily reports, according to Selini Capital's monitoring, it has just requested to unstake 504,000 HYPE, valued at $31.7 million. The address deployed the HIP-3 Dreamcash market. After announcing the closure of this market, Selini is unstaking the HYPE required to deploy and maintain the market, having netted nearly $20 million in profit from this investment.
Hyperliquid will open permissionless prediction market deployment in the subsequent enhancement following the HIP-4 upgrade, allowing anyone to create prediction markets on the platform. This feature will first launch on the testnet, followed by the mainnet; currently, related markets are entirely controlled by validators. Hyperliquid stated that in the future, markets operated by validators should ideally be less than 10 per year, with the remaining markets open to external deployers. Deploying a market requires staking 500,000 HYPE, approximately $30 million; if validators determine that a market is poorly defined or incorrectly settled, the staked assets may be slashed. Deployers can receive up to 50% of the trading fees from that market.
Hyperliquid announced that HIP-4 (Outcome Markets) plans to support permissionless deployment in subsequent network upgrades, with the first phase launching on the testnet followed by expansion to the mainnet. According to the preliminary proposal, deployers are required to stake 500,000 HYPE. If the market definition is unclear, settlement is not performed correctly according to the template, or settlement is not completed within one week after the outcome is generated, validators can vote to slash the stake. Deployers can initially create 100 outcomes, with quotas to be expanded through an auction mechanism thereafter.
According to The Block, Nasdaq-listed Hyperliquid treasury company Hyperion DeFi (HYPD) announced a HYPE Asset Usage Service Agreement (HAUS) with Skew Technologies and will deploy 500,000 staked HYPE (approximately $33.59 million) to Skew to support Skew's launch of a new suite of institutional-grade perpetual futures products on the Hyperliquid HIP-3 permissionless market. In return, Hyperion will receive equity in Skew and a revenue share from market listing services. Previously, Hyperion had terminated similar staking agreements with Felix and Native Markets because both built HIP-3 markets based on Hyperliquid's deprecated native stablecoin USDH. Currently, Hyperliquid has shifted to using Circle's USDC as the primary quote asset, with Coinbase serving as the stablecoin vault provider.
Odaily News on July 14, Bitcoin ETFs recorded net inflows of $181 million, and Ethereum ETFs recorded net inflows of $58.34 million. No outflows were observed for either Bitcoin or Ethereum ETFs on that day. BlackRock's IBIT saw net inflows of $139 million, Fidelity's FBTC posted net inflows of $21.07 million; all net inflows into Ethereum ETFs came from BlackRock's ETHA. HYPE, XRP, and Solana ETFs had no trading activity on the day. Morgan Stanley submitted a proposed amended filing for spot Ethereum and Solana ETFs, with the document covering service providers such as Coinbase Custody and staking provisions. Japanese policymakers are advancing reforms aimed at classifying crypto assets under the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act.
Odaily Planet Daily reported that HyperliquidNews posted on platform X, stating that the new HIP-3 ticker CXMT was acquired for 500 HYPE, valued at $32,625. The ticker is for Chinese storage chip manufacturer CXMT, which plans to list on IPOP ahead of its anticipated IPO on July 27.
On-chain data analysis shows that on the Hyperliquid HIP-3 platform, the SK Hynix (SKHX) perpetual contract currently accounts for approximately 33% of all HIP-3 trading volume, while also accounting for about 50% of the total trading volume of stock perpetual contracts, making it the single contract with the highest trading volume in this category. SKHX is a tokenized stock perpetual contract deployed by a builder via the HIP-3 mechanism, corresponding to the stock price of SK Hynix, South Korea. SK Hynix has long been listed on the Korean main board and is scheduled to complete its U.S. ADR (Nasdaq: SKHY) listing around July 10, 2026. HIP-3 allows eligible builders to stake HYPE and then permissionlessly deploy perpetual markets, enabling traders to trade related assets with leverage on the platform 24/7. This is also the context behind the original post author @0xNairolf's joke that "people really want to trade it before they are truly allowed to trade it"—namely, achieving relatively barrier-free trading through decentralized rails. The data is sourced from Hyperliquid official HIP-3 dashboard screenshots and verified by on-chain tracking sites; recently, SKHX's single-day trading volume has reached the hundreds of millions of U.S. dollars level multiple times.
the official interface shows Polymarket has launched a Perp trading feature. It currently supports 10 assets including BTC, ETH, SOL, HYPE, as well as Gold, Silver, SP500, NAS100, WTIOIL, and SPCX, with up to 20x leverage available.
Bybit has launched the HYPEUSD Inverse Perpetual Contract (Inverse Perpetual), using HYPE as the margin and settlement currency, supporting up to 20x leverage with 24/7 trading. HYPE is the native token of the Hyperliquid ecosystem, and Hyperliquid is a high-performance L1 on-chain derivatives protocol. Inverse contracts allow users to trade directly using HYPE as collateral without needing to convert to USDT, suitable for traders holding HYPE long-term to hedge or enhance returns.
According to Onchain Lens monitoring, a wallet linked to the USDH deployer deposited 212,498 HYPE, worth $15.07 million, into Coinbase.
according to on-chain sleuth Specter's monitoring, Arthur Hayes once promoted what he called the "Holy Trinity"—HYPE, ZEC, and NEAR—predicting that HYPE would reach $150. He also published a Substack article promoting HYPE. A few days later, Arthur Hayes sold all three tokens.Subsequently, Arthur promoted WLD, posting "This shitcoin is going to moon." Three days later, Arthur Hayes announced "I'm out."After that, Arthur promoted CARDS with a target price of $4. One day later, a linked wallet deposited 1.9 million CARDS into an exchange. In 2024, Arthur promoted ENA and, approximately one hour later, deposited ENA worth $8.4 million into a CEX.
Multicoin has published a report stating that the market is severely underestimating the value of Hyperliquid's native token, HYPE, and believes it still has over 400% upside potential in the coming years. The firm estimates that, in a base case scenario, HYPE's price could reach approximately $319 by 2028.Multicoin believes the current market is too narrowly viewing Hyperliquid as a fast-growing decentralized perpetual contract exchange, when in reality it is evolving into an "Everything Exchange" covering multiple assets and trading scenarios. The report states that at the current price of around $63, HYPE is clearly mispriced. Multicoin estimates that by 2028, Hyperliquid's annualized profits could reach approximately $80 billion. Valued at a 20x earnings multiple, this would correspond to a HYPE price of around $319.Multicoin also disclosed that it has been actively buying HYPE since February of this year, and HYPE has become one of the largest holdings in its liquid hedge fund. Recently, HYPE broke through $76 to hit an all-time high, driven by positive catalysts such as ETF inflows, strong protocol revenue, and aggressive buyback plans. It subsequently pulled back with the broader market and was trading around $62.47 as of Thursday afternoon.
