According to CoinPost, Japan’s Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) Digital Society Promotion Headquarters’ “Next-Generation AI & On-Chain Finance Vision Project Team” released a policy proposal on May 19, advocating the integration of AI and blockchain to automate and enable 24/7 operation of decision-making, financing, and asset management—and designating finance as the “18th Growth Investment Sector.” Specific measures proposed in the document include: advancing tokenization of demand deposits at the Bank of Japan (including wholesale CBDC), with conceptual frameworks to be finalized by year-end; joint issuance of a stablecoin by Japan’s three major banks, targeting the launch of live operations by March next year; and promoting on-chain tokenization of real-world assets (RWAs), such as accounts receivable and real estate. Israeli Defense Minister: “We’re waiting for U.S. approval to completely eliminate the Iranian regime.”

According to Xinhua News Agency, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, in a video statement on the 23rd, declared that Israel is prepared to resume military operations against Iran, with the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) ready for both defensive and offensive action and targets already identified. Gallant stated that Israel is awaiting the United States’ “green light” to “completely eliminate the Iranian regime,” and that the IDF stands ready to deliver “devastating strikes” against Iran’s “most vulnerable locations.” Israel’s Channel 12 Television reported that Gallant chaired a special situational assessment meeting at the IDF General Staff Headquarters that day, attended by senior IDF commanders and defense establishment officials. After the meeting, Gallant said the IDF is fully prepared to resume military operations against Iran at any time. The operational plan includes striking Iran’s top leadership “successors,” key energy and power infrastructure, and economic infrastructure—aimed at plunging Iran back into a “dark Stone Age.”
