Gno.land is a Layer 1 smart contract platform, invented by Jae Kwon, co-founder of Cosmos and Tendermint. It aims to address multiple issues in the blockchain space, particularly the ease of use and intuitiveness of smart contract programming platforms. Gno.land takes full advantage of the capabilities of multi-core processors, creating a network capable of hosting multithreaded smart contracts. This allows thousands of contracts to be processed in parallel, optimizing the consensus process between validators.
