Odaily Planet Daily reports that Citrini analyst jukan stated on the X platform that, starting July 1, Murata will raise the ex-factory price of its full range of power inductors by 50%; Taiyo Yuden will uniformly raise the spot price of power inductor models with supply constraints by 150% and increase the price of standard models by 35%.Note: This round of power inductor price hikes is the latest continuation of the passive component price surge since the end of 2025. Price increases have gradually spread from tantalum capacitors → resistors → MLCCs/ferrite beads to power inductors. Japanese giants (Murata, Taiyo Yuden) have strong pricing power in high-end products, while Taiwanese and mainland Chinese manufacturers (such as Yageo, Walsin Technology, Fenghua, and Sunlord) have followed up with multiple rounds of increases.
OpenAI has released the Frontier Governance Framework, systematically elaborating on how its AI safety and governance practices align with emerging regulatory requirements such as the California Frontier AI Transparency Act and the EU's General-Purpose AI Code of Conduct. Based on OpenAI's existing Preparedness Framework, this framework focuses on areas including cyberattacks, CBRN risks, harmful manipulation, loss of control risks, model reporting, security incident response, and external expert review. It also states that it will be continuously updated as model capabilities and the regulatory environment evolve.
Aave core contributor Marc Zeller announced on X that a proposal has been launched to terminate the Aave-Chan Initiative {ACI} Frontier program. He stated that he had operated Ethereum staking nodes on behalf of the Aave DAO for several years, but given current circumstances, he has decided to exit all validators and transfer all ETH to the Aave DAO—potentially safeguarding wETH depositors—and will also forgo all potential revenue associated with this service to minimize potential impact on users. Marc Zeller has long been one of the most active figures in the Aave ecosystem, having contributed to incentive mechanism design through the Aave Chan Initiative. He previously announced his departure from Aave scheduled for July.
According to Bloomberg, OpenAI, Anthropic PBC, and Google—Alphabet’s subsidiary—have begun collaborating to curb attempts by Chinese competitors to extract outputs from cutting-edge U.S. AI models to enhance their own models’ capabilities. Sources familiar with the matter said the three companies are sharing information through the Frontier Model Forum, an industry nonprofit organization co-founded in 2023 by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Microsoft, to identify adversarial data distillation attempts that violate terms of service.
