Diva Staking announced it is ceasing operations and will not launch on mainnet.
Diva Staking issued an official announcement stating that the liquid staking protocol will cease operations and will not launch on the mainnet. Users who made pre-deposits to the Early Staker Vaults can directly withdraw their funds via Enzyme.
The team stated that project funding was exhausted by mid-2024, after which three core members persisted in development for nearly two and a half years without income or salary. The team could not afford the costs of a new round of audits, nor the deployment and maintenance expenses for a complex protocol, and no major institution was willing to assist with the launch. Diva had previously launched on the Hoodi testnet, operating stably for four months without any issues. However, the team noted that AI makes vulnerabilities easier to detect, and the protocol still carried risks of audit oversights that could endanger user funds. Therefore, they chose to shut down the project rather than rush the launch.
