Odaily reports: AI Agent infrastructure layer project Orthogonal has announced the completion of a $4.3 million seed funding round, led by Pantera Capital, with participation from Y Combinator, Pioneer Fund, Decasonic, Blast Club, Outbound Capital, Rice Capital, Surreal by Premise, Batch Ventures (CTO Fund), and others. The project primarily builds infrastructure for AI Agents, enabling instant capability discovery, orchestration, and payments, allowing agents to dynamically obtain necessary tools and complete on-chain transactions without human intervention.
: AI Agent infrastructure project Orthogonal announced the completion of a $4.3 million seed funding round, led by Pantera Capital, with participation from Y Combinator, Pioneer Fund, Decasonic, Blast, Outbound, Surreal, and other institutions.Orthogonal positions itself as the underlying internet discovery, orchestration, and payment infrastructure for AI agents. The platform provides AI Agents with a full suite of capabilities including service discovery, cross-tool automated task orchestration, and on-chain instant payments. It is reported that the funds raised in this round will be used for core platform iterative development, expanding the engineering and marketing teams, continuously growing the platform's developer base, and improving the interconnected AI Agent ecosystem. : Kelp posted on X platform, stating that to ensure the security standards of rsETH and optimize network integration, it will discontinue rsETH cross-chain support for multiple networks after June 15. The affected networks include Optimism, Manta, Mode, Blast, Scroll, X Layer, zkSync, Zircuit, Swellchain, Hemi, Berachain, Sonic, HyperEVM, Unichain, TAC, Avalanche, Plasma Stable, MegaETH, Monad, and Movement.Kelp reminds users holding rsETH on the aforementioned chains to bridge it back to the Ethereum mainnet before June 15. After the deadline, asset recovery can still be requested, but a fee of 100 USDC will be charged per address. Specific procedures will be announced closer to the deadline.
Wasabi Protocol released a security incident update, stating that the attacker exploited a Spring Boot Actuator configuration vulnerability in its AWS infrastructure to steal private keys controlling EVM smart contracts, and subsequently drained approximately $4.8 million in user funds and $900,000 from the protocol’s treasury—totaling roughly $5.7 million in losses. The attack chain originated from a public-facing analysis server whose Actuator heap dump was not properly password-protected, enabling the attacker to obtain credentials for another server and ultimately gain control of the smart contract private keys. This incident affected only EVM deployments—including certain treasuries on Ethereum, Base, Blast, and Berachain—while Solana deployments and the Prop AMM remained unaffected. No final user compensation plan has been announced yet; however, “ensuring all affected users are compensated” remains the team’s top priority. Updates on the investigation will be shared with the community via Discord.

Crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett reported that the financial disclosures of Federal Reserve Chair nominee Walsh reveal early-stage investments held via employment-related investment vehicles. These investments span a broad range of areas, including several crypto infrastructure projects—namely Compound (a decentralized lending protocol), Optimism and Blast (Ethereum Layer 2 networks), and Solana—as well as trading infrastructure, crypto investment firms, and platforms in artificial intelligence and biotechnology. The positions appear relatively small in size, illiquid, and have generated no reportable income, suggesting they represent indirect, venture-capital-style exposure rather than direct, tradable liquid assets.
