Bitgate is a Japanese crypto currency exchange service provider. It was one of the first platforms to obtain a license from the Financial Services Agency (FSA), Japan’s financial regulator. Bitgate has been acquired by Daiko Holdings, a Japan-based FinTech services company. The Daiko Holdings Group, headquartered in Tokyo, operates a broad range of financial services and information technology businesses.
