A $2.1 billion infrastructure fund exposure is brought on-chain via NGI+, and Pendle has established PT, YT, and LP markets

Odaily reports: According to Pendle monitoring, NGI+ converts traditional institutional fund exposure into permissionless tokens. The underlying Partners Group fund shares remain held by Reale, while tokens representing their economic exposure can be freely transferred between wallets and interact with DeFi. KYC/AML checks are set at the entry and exit points; subscriptions and redemptions are conducted through Reale, during which the tokens can be used in composable strategies. The fund opens for trading once a month, and Pendle has launched PT, YT, and LP markets around it; once money markets accept NGI+ as collateral, lending and looping operations can also be carried out. Asseto Finance has built a reusable framework that can be used to bring more institutional strategies on-chain. Pendle stated that the Partners Group Next Generation Infrastructure fund has $2.1 billion in assets under management.
