Odaily reports: Circle has released a developer guide explaining how token issuers can enable cross-chain transfers for ERC-20 tokens other than USDC through CCTP. Issuers can deploy new native cross-chain tokens or configure already-issued ERC-20 tokens as custom CCTP connections; both approaches reuse Circle's messaging and attestation infrastructure and adopt a burn-and-mint model. Issuers can set their own owner, operator, pause permissions, rate limits, and per-transaction transfer caps, and Circle cannot take over control. According to Circle's developer documentation, CCTP for non-USDC went live in September 2026, supporting EVM chains such as Ethereum, Avalanche, OP Mainnet, Arbitrum, Base, Polygon PoS, and Arc, but not non-EVM chains such as Solana.
Odaily report: Federally regulated digital asset bank Anchorage Digital Bank has expanded its partnership with Bitso to provide custody services for MXNB across six blockchains: Arbitrum, Base, Ethereum, Polygon, Avalanche, and Arc. Bitso stated that its infrastructure already processes 15% of transaction volume on the U.S.-Mexico remittance corridor.Bitso has also listed the U.S. dollar stablecoins USDPT and USAT, issued by Western Union and Tether respectively. Mexican users can directly buy and sell USDPT with pesos through the Bitso app; Western Union agents operating Bitso Business accounts can also exchange USDPT for other supported currencies. Arc officially positions it as the “economic operating system of the internet,” and the mainnet has now gone live.
Pump.fun co-founder and COO Alon posted on X that the platform's in-house cross-chain bridge, Pump Bridge, is now available to all app users. According to the test data he published, compared with the previously used cross-chain service provider Relay, Pump Bridge improves buy execution speed by about 2x, reduces transaction error rate by 92% from over 11% to under 1%, and on average yields more tokens for the same capital, while currently charging no additional cross-chain fees.Alon noted that previously, roughly 1 in every 9 cross-chain buys on Relay encountered an error, with a typical transaction taking close to 4 seconds and about 10% of transactions taking more than 7 seconds. He also said that the social trading app FOMO is still using Relay. The above results come from randomized testing conducted between September 28 and October 7, covering networks including Robinhood, BSC, Base, Arc, and Ink but excluding Ethereum, with a total of 416,669 transaction results recorded, of which 383,326 were used for transaction timing statistics and 35,333 USDC buys under $500 were used to compare execution performance. In addition, Alon said that the platform fee rate for the Pump.fun app is 0.45%, Callout rewards are distributed at at least $300,000 per day and have totaled about $20 million over the past two months. During the limited-time referral reward campaign, referrers can receive all platform fees generated by referred users, while the platform says it will not retain any platform fee revenue.
Odaily reports: The U.S. Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) will open commercial access to its tokenization service this month, covering approximately $30 trillion in assets under DTC central securities depository custody—about one-quarter of its total assets under custody. The service will initially run only on two closed platforms, Canton and Besu, with an initial batch of 25 liquid instruments including U.S. Treasuries, major ETFs, and Russell 1000 large-cap stocks. The system will only support two types of participants converting traditional securities into tokens via UI or API between 2:00 and 18:00 ET, while institutions can transfer tokens between wallets around the clock. Stellar (XLM) has been named a 2027 launch partner and will be integrated under the SEP-41 standard alongside Circle's Arc solution, with the original timeline of the first half of 2027 unchanged; a closed pilot in July this year involved more than 30 Wall Street institutions.
According to information released by DTCC regarding its tokenization service, the platform will initially support 25 categories of tokenizable securities, backed by DTC-custodied securities worth approximately $30 trillion. Tokens maintain a strict 1:1 peg with their underlying securities, utilize the same CUSIP identifiers, and carry identical rights and investor protections as traditional book-entry instruments, with the official ledger remaining under DTC custody. Peer-to-peer transfers between DTC-registered wallets operate 24/7, subject to built-in compliance restrictions on token transfers. Participants may submit conversion orders via the UI and API during Eastern Time business hours from 2:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a target processing window of under 15 minutes. U.S. Treasury coupon distributions and maturity redemptions will be processed on-chain, with fiat proceeds disbursed directly to participants’ traditional banking accounts. The inaugural asset lineup comprises Russell 1000 constituents (initiating with select large-cap equities), select ETFs, and U.S. Treasuries. Initial network integrations feature Canton Network (CIP-56) and DTCC’s private Besu network (ERC-20), with Stellar (SEP-41) and Circle’s Arc (ERC-20) targeted for 2027 deployment. The extended roadmap encompasses broadening the universe of tokenizable securities, deploying governance controls such as single sign-on and maker-checker approvals, scaling corporate action capabilities for equities and ETFs, merging book-entry and on-chain position records, and enabling on-chain netting, collateral management, and number
stablecoin issuer Circle plans to expand into approximately 50 emerging and developing markets to meet growing demand for digital dollar payments in Southeast Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East.USDC circulation stands at about $73.3 billion, accounting for roughly one-quarter of the stablecoin market; USDT's market share is close to 60%, higher than that of USDC.Circle's $400 million acquisition of Tazapay, the newly launched Arc blockchain, and its approval for a federal trust bank charter are expected to support its market expansion; a clearer regulatory environment is driving stablecoin adoption. Arc has announced that MoonPay has officially integrated with its blockchain network. MoonPay, which has over 30 million users, supports purchasing USDC via bank cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and bank transfers, with funds transferable to Arc. This integration will provide fiat on-ramp channels for wallets, applications, and developers within the Arc ecosystem.
Odaily News: Stablecoin issuer Circle has partnered with Tereina, a financial services company backed by German enterprise software company SAP, to bring USDC and EURC into SAP customers' enterprise payment processes. Enterprises using SAP financial software can send and receive both stablecoins within existing applications, with USDC used for USD-denominated transactions and EURC for EUR-denominated payments.Tereina provides payment infrastructure that can be embedded into enterprise software, enabling businesses to complete payments without switching to other financial platforms. The two parties plan to test stablecoin integration with customers over the coming months, applying it to global payments and treasury management operations; the SAP ecosystem covers 84% of global commercial activity. The partnership comes less than a month after Circle launched the mainnet of Arc, a Layer 1 blockchain focused on stablecoin payments and financial markets. Arc uses USDC to pay transaction fees and supports over 20 fiat-backed stablecoins, including USDC and EURC. (Cointelegraph)
According to reports from Fortune magazine, Robinhood Chain and Circle’s Arc public chain have recently witnessed successive waves of Meme coin trading, though the sustainability of these speculative activities is being questioned. Data from CryptoQuant indicates that the single-day trading volume for Meme coin and stock token pairs on Robinhood Chain hit $443 million in early September before plunging by 96%. At the same time, the chain saw an average addition of about 26,000 new tokens per day in September, with nearly 45,000 issued in a single day on September 8. However, the vast majority of these tokens traded very little after listing, and their current value has dwindled close to zero. A similar phenomenon has also appeared on Arc, the public chain rolled out by Circle in mid-September, whose Meme coin issuance platform generated over $336 million in trading volume on its first day of open public trading. Julio Moreno, head of research at CryptoQuant, noted that Meme coin hype can draw capital and engagement to new public chains in the short term, but this model is hard to sustain, and most Meme coins will ultimately approach zero.
Arc, the L1 network under Circle, has open-sourced a USDC lending example application built on Borrow Kit. The example covers market discovery, loan sizing, depositing cirBTC as collateral, borrowing USDC, health monitoring, repayment, and liquidation. According to the official announcement, developers do not need to write custom smart contracts or maintain direct integrations with lending protocols.
Centrifuge has confirmed that three funds — JAAA, JTRSY, and HYB — have launched on Circle's Arc blockchain, offering exposure to AAA-rated collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), short-term U.S. Treasuries, and high-yield corporate bonds, respectively, involving investment strategies under Janus Henderson and New York Life Investment Management. All three funds support subscriptions using USDC on Arc, while direct investment is available only to eligible non-U.S. professional investors. The minimum investment for JAAA and JTRSY is $500,000 each, and for HYB it is 100,000 USDC.

Odaily News: Aerodrome's Slipstream V3 has gone live, introducing protocol-level internal MEV auctions to its concentrated liquidity AMM. The upgrade redistributes value captured by sandwich bots and arbitrageurs to active liquidity providers and sAERO holders, with the protocol expected to generate tens of millions of dollars in related revenue. This version also introduces dynamic fees that automatically increase when market volatility intensifies, and retains Uniswap V3's concentrated liquidity design, achieving capital efficiency up to 4,000 times that of traditional AMMs. Aero plans to merge Aerodrome on Base and Velodrome on Optimism into a single AERO token, and to launch on Ethereum mainnet in Q2 2026. Aero Lite has already launched Slipstream pools on Circle's Arc, and Dromos Labs is developing pool-level fee rebates and KYC options for institutional clients.
Circle co-founder and CEO Jeremy Allaire, in a post on X citing Arc Chain's official tweet, stated that one week after Arc Chain's launch, on-chain assets (USDC and cirCTC) have surged from zero to $700 million, while USDC transaction volume has surpassed $7 billion.
Aave founder Stani posted on X to clarify views regarding Aave V4, stating that the Hub and Spoke in V4 are isolated by default based on risk profiles, but markets with similar risk can share liquidity through the Hub and increase capital utilization and capital efficiency within set limits. Stani said that completely isolating liquidity could lead to capital fragmentation, reduced utilization, and higher user costs.Stani also stated that V4 has attracted approximately $1.2 billion in deposits and is deployed across multiple networks including Ethereum, Avalanche, and Arc, while also supporting third-party curators such as EtherFi. The V4 codebase is significantly smaller than Aave V3, and Spoke can directly use the Hub's liquidity without needing to build up liquidity from scratch like traditional curated vaults.
Arc officially announced that Circle's onchain FX engine StableFX is now live on the Arc mainnet. Arc is a public chain launched by Circle, designed for stablecoins and payment use cases; StableFX supports 24/7 settlement, enabling near-instant or delayed settlement, ensuring that both parties either receive funds simultaneously or neither receives funds, and supports trading with multiple vetted counterparties through a single contract, using a unified RFQ model for pricing. The global foreign exchange market has a daily trading volume of nearly $10 trillion, most of which still relies on traditional trading hours.
According to @defioasis citing Dune data, network transaction fees on Circle's Arc mainnet dropped to approximately $9,218 on its sixth day since launch (September 21), down 96.7% from the first day. During the same period, the daily transaction fees for Robinhood Chain, Base, Arbitrum, and Sui were approximately $312,000, $139,000, $22,300, and $11,500, respectively.
