NVIDIA Invests in OpenAI to Co-Create New AI Lab, Expanding Computing Power Coverage

According to The Wall Street Journal, NVIDIA has invested in Safe Superintelligence (SSI), an artificial intelligence laboratory founded by OpenAI's former chief scientist Ilya Sutskever, and established a long-term partnership with it. Under the agreement, SSI will gain access to substantial NVIDIA flagship GPU resources, with computing power expected to increase by an order of magnitude. The specific investment amount has not yet been disclosed.
