Marvell is in final negotiations to acquire Lumentum

According to Yonhap News Agency citing Bloomberg, semiconductor company Marvell Technology is in the final stages of negotiations to acquire data center optical component manufacturer Lumentum Holdings. Sources said both parties have not yet reached a final agreement, but the merger agreement could be announced as early as next week. With Lumentum valued at approximately $83 billion and Marvell at around $221 billion, the transaction would become one of the largest deals in the AI infrastructure sector if completed.
