Korean Retail Investors Make Major Portfolio Shifts in September: Sell Off NVIDIA and SK hynix, Pour $400 Million Into SOXL

According to Korean media outlet MK and data from the Korean Securities Information Portal, since September, Korean individual investors have significantly trimmed their positions in multiple U.S. semiconductor stocks while simultaneously adding to semiconductor leveraged ETF holdings. Net selling exceeded $100 million for Micron, $68.61 million for SanDisk, $49.37 million for Marvell Technology, and $15.56 million for NVIDIA. The SK hynix ADR, which recently debuted on the NYSE in July, recorded net selling of $46.16 million during the same period, contrasting with cumulative net purchases of $811 million through the end of August.
