Odaily News: According to the *Monthly Budget Review for June 2026* released by the Congressional Budget Office, the U.S. federal budget deficit totaled approximately $1.4 trillion in the first nine months of fiscal year 2026, an increase of $35 billion compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year. During this period, federal revenue was $4.2 trillion, an increase of $142 billion (up 4%); outlays were $5.5 trillion, an increase of $178 billion (up 3%).
