Indian agricultural storage company Arya.ag brings $2 billion grain-backed loan on-chain.

According to CoinDesk, Arya.ag, India's largest agricultural warehousing company, is using Avalanche technology to tokenize grain deposits, electronic negotiable warehouse receipts, and loan statuses to help lenders more reliably verify collateral crops for agricultural loans. The project was announced by Infosys co-founder and project lead for India's Aadhaar identity system, Nandan Nilekani, at the Mumbai Global Fintech Fest.
