According to reports from International Cyber Digest (@IntCyberDigest), Telegram's core domain t[.]me was set to serverHold status by the .me registry today, causing the domain to be taken offline from the global DNS, rendering all t.me links inaccessible. Currently, Telegram, the .me registry, and backend operator Identity Digital have not issued any public explanation. Analysts point out that .me is the country code top-level domain for Montenegro, and Montenegro is currently in the process of EU accession negotiations; this blockade may be related to the advancement of EU-related regulations.
