Ministry of Commerce and 8 Other Departments: Promote Use of e-CNY in Distribution, Settlement and Other Stages of Consumption Vouchers

The Ministry of Commerce and eight other departments issued the Opinions on Accelerating the Innovative Development of the Retail Industry. It mentioned enhancing digital and intelligent capabilities. It supports digital transformation of retail business entities to achieve full-chain digitalization of procurement, sales, inventory, logistics, and distribution, and integrate online and offline channels, goods, services, and data.
