According to Pengpai News, Google DeepMind senior research scientist Shunyi Yao explicitly denied online rumors alleging he is preparing to launch an AI startup focused on recursive self-improvement (RSI) with a valuation as high as $2 billion. He stated, "I have not founded a company and remain an employee at Google DeepMind," adding that he had no idea where the rumors originated.
