Cryptoast reported that France's Crédit Mutuel Arkéa confirmed to the outlet on November 4 that it had been attacked and experienced fraudulent transactions. The bank stated that the incident has been contained, some transactions have been suspended to prevent further fund transfers, and customer assets remain unaffected while investigations continue. To date, the bank has not disclosed the actual loss amount. ZachXBT, however, believes that if OTC transactions are factored in, the actual losses could be even higher.
