Pixelmon Announces Halt to All Game Development and Disbands Game Team

The NFT gaming project Pixelmon announced on its official Discord that the latest round of gameplay testing conducted by an external publisher yielded unsatisfactory results, prompting the team to decide against further refining or testing the existing game and to halt all game development. Pixelmon has notified its game team members and provided severance arrangements. Pixelmon previously closed a $8 million seed funding round in 2024, with investment from Animoca Brands, Delphi Ventures, Foresight Ventures, Amber Group, and others.
