After Bain Exits, Toshiba Returns as Kioxia's Largest Shareholder, SK Hynix May Become De Facto Second-Largest Shareholder

According to Korean media reports, after US private equity fund Bain Capital sold the majority of its Kioxia shares, Toshiba has once again become the largest shareholder of Kioxia, holding approximately 15%; SK Hynix indirectly holds approximately 14% equity through a Special Purpose Company (SPC) holding convertible bonds, and if the conversion is completed in the future, it is expected to become the actual second-largest shareholder of Kioxia.
