Alibaba: Completed placement of a total of 710 million new shares at HK$112.070 per share.

Alibaba (09988.HK) announced that all conditions set out in the placement agreement for the previously disclosed proposed placement of new shares under general mandate have been fulfilled, and the placement was completed on August 26, 2026. The company placed 710 million placement shares at HK$112.7 per share to no less than six placees, representing approximately 3.57% of the total issued shares upon completion; gross proceeds amounted to approximately HK$80 billion, with net proceeds of approximately HK$79.7 billion.
