According to The Block (@TheBlockCo), Vitalik Buterin is actively pushing to incorporate EIP-8288 (a recursive STARK memory pool draft released this June) into Ethereum's I-star fork upgrade following the Hegota fork. The proposal aims to reduce the cost of quantum-safe transactions, with its core approach moving signature and proof computation out of Ethereum's core execution path while keeping proof data on-chain.
