According to CoinDesk, South Korea’s internet bank KBank—also Upbit’s partner bank—has formed a strategic partnership with Ripple to launch a proof-of-concept (PoC) for on-chain cross-border remittance services. The PoC targets the United Arab Emirates and Thailand, aiming to enable faster and lower-cost cross-border transfers. The project has now entered its second phase of testing.
