Crypto lobbying group TDC sues Illinois to block 0.2% tax on digital asset transactions

According to CoinDesk, cryptocurrency lobbying group TDC has officially sued the state of Illinois, seeking to block the implementation of a bill imposing a 0.2% tax on all digital asset transactions in the state. The bill was signed by Governor Pritzker last month and is scheduled to officially take effect next year.
