Citrini analyst Jukan disclosed in a post on the X platform that NVIDIA has decided to temporarily abandon adopting TSMC's COUPE (Compact Universal Photonic Engine) technical solution, as TSMC's progress in advancing silicon nitride (SiN) technology has been slow and the development of 2D grating couplers has not met expectations.
