According to Cointelegraph, the NASDAQ-listed Solana Company has signed a memorandum of understanding with Alatau City, Kazakhstan, to provide support for local digital asset finance, blockchain infrastructure, institutional adoption, and platform development. Alatau City plans to build a digital-first smart city and establish pilot zones allowing daily cryptocurrency payments.
