Virtu Financial, in collaboration with Tradeweb, completed an on-chain repo transaction on the Canton Network using the Marshall Islands-issued sovereign digital bond USDM1 as collateral. The transaction achieved atomic settlement in under 10 minutes, marking one of the first cases combining native sovereign collateral with on-chain settlement.
