According to TNW, the Cyberspace Administration of China released a draft of rules on cyberbullying governance on July 29 and opened it for public comment. The draft requires platforms to establish cyber violence content detection classifiers, provide users with a "one-click protection" function, and implement blacklist management and regular reporting mechanisms for violating accounts. It is worth noting that the draft explicitly includes AI-generated deepfake images and synthesized harassment text within the scope of regulation. Q&A platform Zhihu has responded in advance by restricting the use of anonymous accounts.
