Multiple technology and crypto companies pledge to jointly combat illegal wildlife trade

According to Reuters, during the London Climate Action Week, at the “United for Wildlife” Business Forum, platform companies including Google, Meta, TikTok, and Alibaba pledged to strengthen the identification and removal of online illegal wildlife trade information and explore the use of artificial intelligence for detection and prevention. Vodafone, Vodacom, and Safaricom plan to introduce AI-powered anti-money laundering and transaction monitoring mechanisms into the mobile payment platform M-Pesa.
