Google DeepMind has launched AlphaGenome Atlas, an AI-driven searchable database designed to map the predicted impacts of approximately 9 billion single-nucleotide DNA variants. With a scale more than 30 times larger than that of the AlphaFold database and a data volume of approximately 1 petabyte, it aims to help researchers directly link genetic variants to the molecular mechanisms they may disrupt.
