According to The Straits Times, Telegram in Singapore experienced a widespread service outage starting at 10:20 AM on September 8, with the number of reports peaking at nearly 4,000 at 10:30 AM. By 11:30 AM, the number of reports had dropped to approximately 350 as services gradually recovered. According to data from Downdetector, about 50% of users encountered application errors, 40% reported issues sending or receiving messages, and 5% faced login difficulties.
